He caught 8 skunks (yes 8!) from my property very quickly for such a reasonable price and told me details on where they were entering and exiting, etc. You will be happy you called him. I was!!!! Let’s give this veteran lots of business!

Bat Removal Branford CT

Bat Removal in Branford, CT

Bats favor Branford’s attics and eaves near Long Island Sound or the Branford River, entering tiny gaps and posing guano/histoplasmosis risks.

Since White Nose Syndrome wiped out most little brown bats in CT, I’ve only seen big brown bats in homes. Prior to that, most of my bat work was little brown exclusions — they were our main mosquito eaters.

Our bat removal process:

  1. Inspection for colonies and entry points
  2. Seasonal exclusion with one-way valves (no exclusion in maternity season)
  3. Spot guano cleanup
  4. Sealing and prevention

Starting at $225 — safe and DEEP-approved.

Skunk removal Branford CT

Skunk Removal in Branford, CT

Skunks burrow under decks, sheds, porches, and crawlspaces in Branford’s suburban yards — especially near the marshes, Branford Supply Pond, or the shoreline areas around Stony Creek and Pine Orchard. They spray when threatened, dig up lawns looking for grubs, and can turn a nice backyard into a smelly mess fast.

We recently handled a skunk removal job right near Stony Creek Brewery — it seems the local wildlife appreciates the craft beer scene just as much as the residents do! The skunk had dug in under a deck a little ways down from the brewery, and the smell was starting to drift. We got it out humanely, sealed the entry points with vinyl coated steel mesh (salt air eats through regular materials quick on the shoreline), so the area so the brewery could keep serving without any “extra aroma” complaints.

Branford’s coastal mix — salt marshes, wooded pockets, and low decks near the water — makes it prime skunk territory. Mid-February through early March is peak breeding season, so males roam more and females den up — that means more trapped pairs, more fighting, and more intense spraying. Once babies arrive in April–May, the digging and odor problems multiply fast.

Our skunk removal process:

  1. Assessment for burrows and access
  2. Odor-controlled live trapping (no relocation per DEEP)
  3. Exclusion barriers and cleanup
  4. Prevention tips for securing attractants

Quick Start in 1-3 days — legal and effective.

Squirrel
Branford CT Squirrel in attic

Squirrel Removal in Branford, CT

Squirrels invade attics and eaves in Branford’s wooded neighborhoods near Supply Pond or the Branford River, damaging wiring and insulation.

Along the shoreline and open areas I mostly deal with gray squirrels. Farther inland in older forests, flying squirrels become more common — they’re about chipmunk size with soft gray fur and large dark eyes that look almost too big for their small heads. They glide between trees and sneak into tiny gaps.

Flying squirrel exclusions are very similar to bat exclusions — the main difference is metal MUST be used (galvanized steel mesh or hardware cloth stainless on the coast) — flying squirrels will chew through foam or plastic. See my full bat exclusion process here: Bat Exclusion & Prevention

Our squirrel removal process:

  1. Check for gnaw marks and nests
  2. Live trapping with one-way doors for eviction
  3. Repairs to damaged areas and sealing
  4. Habitat modifications to deter re-entry

Guaranteed service starting at $225.

Raccoon Removal Branford CT

Raccoon Removal in Branford, CT

Raccoons scavenge near Thimble Islands or Branford Point, nesting in chimneys and causing major destruction with rabies concerns. One of my near death experiences came from a raccoon removal job in Branford CT off of Indian Neck Ave near the Branford river. A raccoon mother ripped into a steep roof. I climbed up on the roof using a ridgehook and when I got to the hole about to do an eviction the mother raccoon launched out of the hole and chased me off the roof. LOL better than a pot of expresso from Peets Coffee in North Branford LOL.

Our raccoon removal process:

  1. Free evaluation for dens and entries
  2. Secure live traps (no relocation—DEEP required)
  3. Eviction, sealing, and fixes
  4. Prevention for trash and overgrowth

Efficient and compliant with veteran-owned expertise. Starting at $225
